READ THIS IT WILL SAVE YOU $$$$$$. I bought an lb7 in 2003, I’ve still got it, I’ve learned a lot about it having owned one for over 20 years. The lb7 was designed by Isuzu, they designed the fuel system to use a 2ppm filter. Chevy decided to put a 6ppm filter on the truck, so basically the trash getting through to the injectors is 3x the size the injectors where designed to handle. If you use the stock filter set up your injectors will fail. There is an adapter available for $99 that allows you to use a 2 ppm cat filter. The filters are only $20 which is about 1/3 the cost of the standard filter. I’ve had 3 sets of injectors on a 320k engine. I installed the 2ppm filter with the latest set, done 200 k with no problems. I got a good deal on the improved injectors online at injectors direct.

It’s ashame the 6.0 and 6.4 engines are junk. The ford truck is great it’s that junk powerjoke under the that’s the problem. If ford used the 5.9 commonrail in these trucks ram wouldn’t exist

I have the Landspider's, they're 12.5/35/24 on a set of 24×12 Arkon Mandela's and had a lit of balancing issues. Initially had beads in them, and they wouldn't ever balance out while driving, it was bad.. got the beads removed, and the tire shop that re-mounted the tires with weight said we got it balanced as good as we can, but it still has a "shimmy" at highway speeds. Not satisfied with that, i took it to a different shop and had them re-balanced and they got it pretty much perfect, although I can still hear the one tire that was a pain to balance makes an uneven sound while driving. These tires are freaking loud on the road. It's uncomfortably loud with the windows down on the highway, but im not surprised about that, really. They seem to be lasting a long time. I tow 10k+ on a daily basis, and rotate roughly every 5k miles (only front to back) and I'm on my 3rd summer on them. I got a bit of a bad taste in my mouth for them, but it's mainly because of the balancing beads and the crap tire shop I went to to remove them. Anyways, hope this helps, lol.

have had 2 12th gen. 5.0 and eco. took awhile to have look grow on me but as far as im concerned one of last real tough f150s . in that gen ford made it their mission to build quality with its new technology/motors and build american. no longer a fan of ford after. interior quality dropped right off in 13th + gen , price tag sky rocketed and now they have too many issues with transmission, electrical and they changed the 5.0, guys blowing htem up with as little as 100km off the lot (dropping pistions), engine shut off is also dumb idea and interface on screen is confusing and in ways a step backwards from 12th . ex. cant connect previously paired phone while driving or change screen background. the 14th gen especially will not last as long as the 12th did or does. also dont like price tag and the way they changed the trim package options at dealer. tremor is just an over priced version of the old fx4

boys need to brush up on mid - late 90s obs, had inline 6, 5.0, 5.4 triton, 5.8 windsor and (rare in canada) 7.2 (460) and of course 7.3 diesel. one of the best gens made because they were still well built, tough, more modern suspension, electronics, etc. that made it a perfect combination (just like other brands, dodge and chev) in that era, of old pickup quality / tough combined with what modern pickups are today. you can modify/retro fit/ upgrade a truck from the 90s to have all the same features as a modern half ton without the (crazy electronics and bs safety features) and plastic/ weak bodies. only thing is if you stick with original engine is worse fuel mileage.
